Spring snowstorm dumps 9-11 inches of snow on the area

The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says Winneshiek County residents will be shoveling 9 to 11 inches of snow on Monday.

The morning commute will be slippery, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect until 7:00 a.m. Monday.

The National Weather Service says the heaviest snows will fall in narrow bands, thus, accumulations will vary just a few miles apart.
