14 Decorah businesses honored for their building improvements

Downtown Decorah remains strong.  That was the message from Wednesday morning's annual meeting of the Downtown Decorah Betterment Association, which recognized those businesses which have made improvements to their facilities during the past 12 months.

14 downtown and West Side businesses received certificates of appreciation: Beyond the Bar Bakery; Bottletree Properties; Dan's Standard; EuroTeam; Games XP; Good Times Grill; Grain to Glass; Hotel Winneshiek; J Tupy's; Java John's; K'uun Coffee/Perfect Edge; Magpie; Oneota Co-op; and The Cellar.
