Decorah Park-Rec gets $9,700 grant towards cost of new swimming pool slide

The Winneshiek County Community Foundation wants to help Decorah Parks & Recreation replace the slide at the Municipal Swimming Pool.

The foundatyion has given $9,700 towards the cost of a new slide.  Other donations and set-aside city funds will pay for the rest of the cost.

The Parks & Recreation Board will meet Thursday night to make a decision on which architectural firm to hire for the water slide project.
