Hospital patients receive St. Patrick's Day gifts

It was a happy St. Patrick's Day at Winneshiek Medical Center on Tuesday, thanks to residents of Wellington Place Assisted Living.

Members of the 'Helping Hearts' group created gifts that were delivered to inpatients at Winneshiek Medical Center on St. Patrick's Day. 

"These thoughtful gestures really make a difference for our patients," said Winneshiek Medical Center Director of Inpatient Services Dawn Sanderman.

One patient said, 'I really needed this today, it made me smile.'
