Bids opened for bridge replacement in northern Winneshiek County

The Iowa Department of Transportation has opened bids on a project to replace a bridge in Winneshiek County.  Bridge 405 is located on 288th Avenue, just south of County A-18, north far from the Minnesota border.

Minowa Construction of Harmony is the apparent low bidder for the project, with a bid of $519,000 for the work.  State DOT officials will review the bid before sending it to the Winneshiek County Board for action.
