The public will get a chance on April 6th to comment about two projects at the Decorah Airport.
The first project calls for construction of a three-stall airplane hangar at the cost of $234,000. The Iowa Department of Transportation will pay $117,000 of that cost, with Winneshiek County Development paying $20,000 and Decorah Jobs, Inc. paying $10,000. That leaves a cost of $87,000 that will be paid through city taxes.
The second project will replacer a fuel tank at the airport. The $136,000 project will get most of its funding--$115,600--from the State of Iowa, with $20,400 coming in a local match.
