Registration has begun for a grief support class that will meet in April

Winneshiek Medical Center Hospice is offering a free grief support group that will meet eight consecutive Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. starting April 2nd in the Home Health and Hospice meeting room. The sessions are open to the public with prior registration.

Winneshiek Medical Center Social Worker Karen Nielsen, the coordinator of the grief support program, says,  "The grief support group is safe and confidential - it is an opportunity for people to share their experience with loss and to express their feelings, reactions and thoughts with others who truly understand what they are going through."
