"Transitional Kindergarten" students celebrate Dr. Seuss

The Decorah Transitional Kindergarten class is busy celebrating reading month and Dr. Seuss' Birthday. 

The students enjoyed a school-wide kick off assembly with a special visit from the Cat in the Hat.

Following the visit, students rotated through several centers: Oobleck and letters, Dr. Seuss story time, Cat in the Hat sugar cookie decorating, a balloon bop (students bopped balloons in the air while identifying letter names, letter sounds, and words that begin with each letter), and rhyme time game.
