Decorah students compete at Special Olympics events

Decorah Community School District students participated in district Special Olympics on Sunday at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. The students were led by coaches Michelle Nesteby and Michelle Monreal.
Students received 23 first place ribbons, 6 second place ribbons, 3 third place, and 3 participation awards.
State Special Olympics will take place at the Iowa State campus on May 21st and 22nd.
