Letter to the Editor: Use extra gas tax money to repair streets in Decorah

(The following Letter to the Editor was submitted by Cliff Carey of Decorah):

After reading that Mr. Bird wants to spend the new gas tax money on specific things (http://www.decorahnews.com/news-stories/2015/03/10261.html), a thought came to mind. It's my belief the gas tax money should be used for repairing and reconstructing city Streets.

Also, while I am writing, I commend the Street Department for another fabulous job of keeping the streets clean and safe again this winter. Hats off, guys!
