Display set up at Water Street Park to promote films about water usage

A display has been put up in Water Street Park highlighting the trash that was pulled out of the 'urban' Dry Run Creek stream that runs through downtown Decorah.

The display was put up to publicize the showing of the film "Body of Water" at the Oneota Film Festival this weekend and to heighten community awareness of water pollution.

The display also ties in to a panel discussion that will be held during the Oneota Film Festival by University of Iowa Sustainable Communities students on Saturday morning.  The University of Iowa group also will have a table set up and information available before the 1:30 p.m. Saturday showing of "Body of Water."
