Class for families living with mental illness to be offered

The Minnesota chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will be offering a class in Decorah for people with a family member living with a mental illness.

NAMI's free educational course helps families gain a greater understanding of mental illness, discusses resources, builds communication skills, reduces stress and finds support.  The course is taught by family members who have walked the walk.

The class runs for 12 weeks starting March 30^that the United Church of Christ at 209 W. Broadway in Decorah. Registrants must commit to attending the entire course and pre-registration is required. Call Brita to register at 1-319-505-3814.  Minnesota residents are also welcome.
