Spring Grove woman injured in Locust Road accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department was called to Locust Road around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, just north of the intersection with Old Locust Road.

Spring Grove resident Elise Lund was traveling south on Locust Road when she lost control of her car.  The car entered the west ditch and rolled onto its side.

Lund was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance.  She was treated for her injuries in the emergency ward and then later released.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Decorah Fire Department and the Iowa State Patrol.
