Decorah Community School District ranked #3 in Iowa

The Decorah School District has been ranked as the #3 school district in Iowa by Niche, a website started in 2002 by Carnegie-Mellon students who wanted to find ways to compare schools.

Niche's ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall educational experience at schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.  Niche used data from various government and public data sets, Niche's own proprietary data, and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.

The Decorah Community School District was ranked third in Iowa; Decorah High School was ranked 10th; Decorah Middle School was ranked 3rd; and Carrie Lee School was ranked 11th.  John Cline School and West Side were not ranked.
