We have an egg! First eagle egg of 2015 is laid

With a large crowd of people watching Wednesday night (despite the cold) the Decorah eaglecam adult female bald eagle flew to the nest and coaxed the adult male off of the nest bowl.  She thenlaid down and took but a short time to lay the first egg of the season around6:15 p.m.

The past three years of the eaglecam, the female has laid three eggs over a week or so.
