Decorah Police were called to Short Street around 11:30 Thursday morning when a car driven by 19-year-old Jacklyn Meyer of Cresco rear-ended a truck driven by 39-year-old Paul Hunter of Decorah.
Hunter was heading north on Short Street when he stopped because the car ahead of him was turning. Meyer told police she was unable to stop in time.
The accident totalled Meyer's car, but caused just $300 in damage to Hunter's truck. Neither driver was injured and no tickets were issued.
