ArtHaus is raising funds for Relay for Life

ArtHaus is helping the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Winneshiek County to raise funds and awareness.

The project involves giving people a chance to paint the story of how cancer has touched their life.  If you're currently undergoing cancer treatment, a survivor, a caregiver, a relative of someone who had cancer or you're simply a supporter of the American Cancer Society, you can paint on a 6-inch by 6-inch canvas.  All materials are provided.  No painting experience is needed.

The panels will be collected and displayed as part of a larger traveling art piece in the county prior to Relay For Life and will also be on display at the Relay For Life on Saturday, June 6th at Decorah High School.

There are two canvas painting classes currently scheduled, one on March 7th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and another on April 11th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at ArtHaus Studio.  Registration is $20 per person, with proceeds going to Relay For Life of Winneshiek County.
