HSNEI holding logo design contest

The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa is looking for a new logo.

The organization is starting a logo design contest, with finished logos due electronically to hsneiowa@gmail.com by March 1st. The HSNEI Board will announce the winner of the contest by March 15th, with the winner being credited in all HSNEI publications and references to the contest.

The new logo needs to incorporate a form of the existing logo (see photo).  It also needs to "capture the essence of our organization as one that finds homes for dogs and cats in Northeast Iowa who have been surrendered, stray or lost," according to HSNEI.

A spokesperson for the organization says they are looking for a logo that can be used on merchandise, as well as a complementary masthead. The only constraint is the designs must be submitted electronically, camera ready.
