"Record number" of appliances and electronics recycled by City of Decorah/Winneshiek County at recent event

The appliance and electronics recycling event sponsored by the City of Decorah and Winneshiek County Recycling on January 24th and 25th brought in "a record number" of items, according to City Manager Chad Bird.

He told city council members on Monday night the event "continues to amaze."  This year's recycling brought in over 600 items.
