Interim Farm Service Agency Director appointed

Winneshiek County FSA Director Julie Vulk will retire on Friday, January 30th, after 34 years with USDA/FSA.

Now the agency has annonced that Howard County FSA Director Curtis Goettsch will be assisting the county office until a replacement is hired in 2016.

Goettsch is a graduate of Charles City High School and Upper Iowa University. He started working for the FSA in 2009 as a Program Technician in the Clayton County FSA office in Elkader. He was hired in June of 2011 as CED in the Howard County FSA Office in Cresco.
