City of Decorah renews lease with Fox & Coon Club

The Decorah City Council has approved a new five-year lease of city property to the Northeast Iowa Fox and Coon Association.  The agreement will be back-dated to Junuly 1st of 2014, when the previous agreement expired.

The new contract includes language allowing either side to cancel the contract with 60 days notice.  It also changes the way the value of the property is determined, cancelling the requirement for a professional appraisal of the worth of the property and instead allowing for a mutually agreed-upon property value.
