"Burning Bright" proceeds are donated to area groups

The Burning Bright chorus held two concerts on December 20th at Decorah Methodist Church.  Now the proceeds from those benefit concerts have been donated to two local organizations.

Directors Kathryn Reed and Otter Dreaming have presented checks to the Community Food Pantry at First Lutheran Church, the Decorah Fire Department, the Greater Area Pantry in Calmar and to the Sunrise Foundation, which provides educational programs and services to at-risk children and their families in Camoapa, Nicaragua.
