Several art classes for kids are beginning at ArtHaus

Art classes aimed at kids are beginning this week at ArtHaus in Decorah.

A jewelry class for kids ages 9-12 will run from 3:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. the next five Thursdays at ArtHaus.  Kids will learn to create necklaces, bracelets, and other wearable art.

The "Friday Art Club" will meet for five Fridays (no class February 13th) from 3:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Instructors will lead kids ages 4-6 in projects using a variety of mediums.

The "Saturday Art Studio" will run for five consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The class will lead 2-4 year-olds in easel painting, homemade play-dough (gluten-free), mixed media collage, and watercolor resist drawings.
