Curated by Luther senior Katie Mathis, the exhibit at ithe Kristin Wigley-Fleming Art Gallery in Luther College's Center for the Arts is open to the public with no charge for admission.
In 1968, Smith began creating an artistic dedication in Aurora, Illinois, to the more than 7,000 African-Americans who died in Vietnam. Over the years, Smith has continued to add to the site, known as The African-American Heritage Museum and Black Veteran's Archive.
