For the fourth time, Mc Donald's employees in Decorah have donated blankets to be used by pediatric patients at Winneshiek Medical Center.
The blanket project has been coordinated by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota, which pays for the materials. Mc Donald's employees then chose the fabric and coordinated the volunteers to construct and tie them. To date the employees have made over 200 blankets for WMC.
WMC Med/Surg nurse Kim Johnson said, "The blankets are a comfort to our pediatric patients while they're here, as well as something that they can take home with them."
