Sunday accident caused $5,500 in damages

Decorah Police were called to Short Street around noon Sunday after two cars collided near Kwik Star and Culver's.

Police say 62-year-old April Ulring Larson of Decorah admitted to pulling out into the path of a car driven by 40-year-old Mary Luhman of Decorah. Larson said because of the snow she was unable to stop before hitting Luhman's car.

Neither driver was injured and no tickets were issued.
