Appliance recycling will be held January 23rd and 24th

The City of Decorah again will sponsor an appliance recycling event in January.

City Manager Chad Bird says the public will be able to come to City Hall and buy stickers allowing them to drop off their used appliances.  The collection itself will be held Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th, in the lower Co-op parking lot.

Money collected by the City of Decorah is used to pay the costs of recycling the appliances.

More information about the recycling event will be released later in January.
