"Dancing with the Trolls" announced as 49th Nordic Fest theme

Nordic Fest officials have announced the theme for the 2015 Scandinavian styled festival is "Dancing with the Trolls."  
 
Said Nordic Fest Board President Tom Houdek, "Everything from the buttons, t-shirts and programs all revolve around the theme that is selected."
 
Past festival themes have included "May the Norske be with you" in 2014; "All trails lead to Nordic Fest" in 2013; "Return to the nest for the 46th Fest" in 2012 and "Take a liking to a Viking" in 2011.

Nordic Fest officials are also asking for nominations for Nordic Fest Flag Marshall and Parade Grand Marshal.  Flag Recipients are selected for their commitment to Nordic Fest and Grand Marshals are selected for their commitment to the larger community. Deadline for submission of nominations is Thursday, February 19th and must include a brief description of why the nominee is worthy of the recognition.
