Murder trial in Decorah now won't take place until spring

There's been another delay in the murder trial of Alexander Fazzino of Boone.  Fazzino is charged with first degree murder in the January 2012 death of his wife, Emily.

The trial has been moved to Winneshiek County because of the high profile nature of the case.  Emily Fazzino's father, Richard Beckwith, has served as the CEO of Fareway Stores, which is headquartered in Boone.

Alexander Fazzino's murder trial had been scheduled to be held in January in Decorah.  But on-line court documents now show the trial has been postponed until April 15th of 2015.  Fazzino was charged with first degree murder in April of 2013, so if the trial starts in April in Decorah, as scheduled, it will have been two years since the charges were field.  Fazzino remains free on bond.
