Newly-elected Winneshiek County officials have been officially sworn in to office

District Court Judge John Bauercamper on Tuesday morning officially swore in to office the winners of this year's election for county offices in Winneshiek County.

John Beard, Floyd Ashbacher, Teresa Bockman and Wayne Walter were sworn in.  Andy Van Der Maaten was not present on Tuesday and will be sworn in on a different date.

Beard is the only non-incumbent in the group.  He won election to the county board in November, defeating Dennis Karlsbroten.
