Iowa Food Hub opens new distribution center in West Union

The Iowa Food Hub, which had been operating in Decorah, has now expanded to a new distribution facility in West Union.

The Iowa Food Hub is leasing space in a building just across from the Fayette County Courthouse and has turned the space into the base of operations for the Iowa Food Hub's community local food distribution business.

The Iowa Food Hub started as several small pilot projects renting cooler space at a grocery store in Decorah and it has grown into a food distribution business helping more than 50 northeast Iowa farms connect to markets and buyers within a 150-mile radius.
