Winneshiek Medical Center staffers donate to Ronald McDonald House

Winneshiek Medical Center staff in the Scheduling/Receptionand Registration departments have donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.

The departments gathered household items and gifts forfamilies staying at the Ronald McDonald House over Christmas.

"Several of ourco-workers have benefited from the services provided by the Ronald McDonaldHouse, and we looked at this project as a way to give back," says RachaelAndera, coordinator of the project. 

"Staff also donated cash whichallowed us to purchase additional items they may need," says Andera. 

The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home-away-from-home"for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or nocost. Houses are found in more than 62 countries and regions.  TheRochester house is regularly occupied by families receiving care at MayoClinic.
