Waukon man ticketed following two-vehicle accident

A two-vehicle accident on Main Street at River Street in Decorah at 2:00 p.m. Monday caused $7,000 in damages.

Decorah Police say 78-year-old Lowell Drenth of Waukon pulled into the intersection and struck the side of a car driven by 34-year-old Kim Rothmeyer of Ossian.

Neither driver was hurt. Drenth was ticketed for Failure to Yield at an Intersection.
