In her annual report of the work of the Decorah Public Library, Decorah Library Director Lorraine Borowski on Monday night stressed how major a role technology is playing at the library.

The library's wired Internet computers were used almost 20,000 times in the library's 2013-2014 fiscal year, with wireless Internet access used over 8,000 times.

To keep up with the Internet usage, the library held 112 free computer classes, which served 316 people.  The library also has 12 public access computers available and 6 iPads.
