Oneota Film Festivcal is accepting submissions for its 2015 festival

The Oneota Film Festival has announced it is now accepting film submissions for next March's film festival in Decorah.

Submissions can be in any of four categories: Documentary Feature (over 50 minutes long); Documentary Short (under 50 minutes); Narrative Feature (over 50 minutes long); and Narrative Short (under 50 minutes long).  Submissions are being accepted through Monday, January 5th.  A final decision on which films are chosen will be made by February 5th.

Jurors will award a $500 prize to the filmmakers of the "Best of the Fest" and a $100 prize to the "Best Student Film."  A "People's Choice Award" will be named, although there will not be a monetary prize for the award.
