Christmas Giving Tree benefitting Winneshiek Energy District

Ace Hardware in Decorah has put up a Christmas Giving Tree on behalf of Winneshiek Energy District and its volunteer service team, Green Iowa AmeriCorps.
Tags on the tree represent items WED commonly uses, such as LED and CFL light bulbs, electrical outlet and light-switch sealers, backer rods and foam tape.
People wishing to donate to the Winneshiek Energy District can choose a tag from the tree, purchase the items and then leave them in the box next to the tree, so WED can use the items to winterize homes in Winneshiek and the surrounding counties.
