Decorah Middle School ranked as one of the top middle schools in Iowa

Decorah Middle School has been ranked as the #3 middle school in Iowa by Niche, a website started in 2002 by Carnegie-Mellon students who wanted to find ways to compare schools.

Niche's "Best Public Middle Schools" ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall experience at public middle schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Niche used data from various government and public data sets, Niche's own proprietary data, and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.

A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.
