City Council to vote on appointing Assistant City Attorney

The City of Decorah may soon have an Assistant City Attorney.

Rick Zahasky, who is currently serving as City Attorney, has told city officials he wants to appoint fellow officemate John Anderson as Assistant City Attorney.  Zahasky says Anderson would serve if Zahasky was out of town or couldn't handle city business.
 
Decorah City Council members will vote on the appointment later in December.
