City of Decorah fills several committee spots

The Decorah City Council has approved the appointments of five people to various city committees.
Alan Sand and Roger Timp have been appointed to the Tree Commission; Janelle Pavlovec to the Board of Adjustment; Joe Grimstad to the Airport Commission and Lynne Soothern to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
City officials say one spot remains open on the Tree Committee, two spots on the Planning & Zoning Commission, one spot on the Historical Preservation Commission and one spot on the Human Rights Commission.
