WMC's Home Health program honored

Winneshiek Medical Center's Home Health program has been named a 2014 HHCAHPS Honors recipient.

The awards program was established in 2009 to measure the experiences of people receiving home health care from Medicare-certified home health agencies.  Winneshiek Medical Center Home Health was one of seven Iowa agencies to be so honored.  Honors recipients scored above the Deyta National Average on at least 85 percent of the evaluated questions.
           
Winneshiek Medical Center Home Health provides medical services to patients in their own home, offering an alternative to long-term stays in a hospital or nursing home.
