November in Decorah was much cooler than normal

Temperatures in Decorah in November averaged 28.6 degrees, says Decorah weather observer Richard Bernatz.  That's 6.4 degrees cooler than normal.

Bernatz says 18 out of November's 30 days had high temperatures below normal.  From November 12th through November 20th, the high temperatures were LESS than the average minimum temperatures.

Bernatz says out of the 120 years for which records have been kept in Decorah, 11 of them have been cooler, while 108 Novembers were warmer.

Decorah had 0.81 inches of precipitation in November--0.99 inches less than the average of 1.80 iches.  That meant that 90 Novembers in the past 122 years have had more precipitation, while 31 Novembers have been drier.
