Humane Society beginning to train volunteers

50 people have already signed up to volunteer for the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa at its new Love & Friendship Adoption Center.  But while Tuesday's training sessions are already full, HSNEI says it still needs additional volunteers.

All volunteers working at the center need to attend an orientation before beginning work with the animals.  Visit www.hsnei.org for a schedule of orientation sessions and to sign up.

HSNEI is an non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Northeast Iowa by rescuing, caring for, and finding adoptive homes for unwanted pets, reducing the overpopulation of companion animals, fostering respect for animal life, encouraging volunteerism, and educating the community about responsible pet guardianship.
