Cresco woman hits the side of a building in downtown Decorah

A Cresco woman, 61-year-old Martha Andera, tried to park her car on Winnebago Street in Decorah just before noon on Monday.  That's when her brakes failed and she ran into the building at 111 Winnebago Street.

Andera's car suffered $1,500 in damages, but there was no damage to the building.  Andera was not injured and police did not issue a ticket.
