NICC recognized for outstanding manufacturing programs

Northeast Iowa Community College has been recognized by the Manufacturing Institute as the newest member of the "M-List" for its manufacturing programs and for its work in developing manufacturing career pathways to meet the needs of students, customers and employers in Northeast Iowa.

NICC becomes the third community college in Iowa to be endorsed by the National Association of Manufacturers.

Upper Mississippi Manufacturing Innovation Center Director Randy Schofield says the new M-List designation for NICC is a tribute to the work the college and its partners have done.  "Being nationally recognized as an M-List educator shows the college's commitment to continually improving our manufacturing programs to meet the needs of our customers," he said.
