The Decorah Historic Preservation Commission has added three new members to the seven-person commission.
Judd Larson, Mark Muggli and Lisa Beiwel have been appointed to the Commission by the Decorah City Council, joining current members Philip Younger and Susan Jacobsen. Two seats on the Commission remain open. City officials are encouraging Decorah residents interested in serving on the commission to fill out an application form, which is available at City Hall or on the city's website.
The commission works on the preservation and enhancement of sites of historical and cultural significance and helps to safeguard the city's historic, aesthetic and cultural heritage.
