Decorah Middle School Mock Trial Team does well at state competition

The Decorah Middle School 8th grade Mock Trial team performed well at the state competition in Des Moines earlier this week.

Beirgen Gunhus-Dansdill was awarded a medal for outstanding attorney. Mara Frieden and Abby Pedlar were named honorable mention outstanding attorneys, and Evie Holyoake and Sarah Mumford were named honorable mention outstanding witnesses.

The DMS team was awarded a plaque as one of the 32 participating teams out of 172 Mock Trial teams in the state of Iowa.
