Decorah Public Library is beginning "iPad Roundtable"

Starting Tuesday Decorah Public Library staff will host a weekly "iPad Roundtable," a drop-in technology help session held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. every Tuesday.

The library has recently acquired six iPads.  People who attend an "iPad Roundtable" may use the library's iPads for instruction or exploration, or they may bring a personal iPad.

The iPads will also be available for two-hour checkouts within the library building.  The purchase of the iPads was made possible by a Library Technology Grant through the State Library of Iowa with matching funds provided by the Friends of Decorah Public Library.

Tuesday afternoon Roundtable attendees may also receive one-on-one help with e-readers, the NEIBORS audio book and e-book lending program, and smart phones or other tablets.
