Medical Center receives hospice grant from riders

Winneshiek Medical Center has received a check for over $3,000 in support of the hospital's hospice program.

The donation was the result of the recent 2014 Hospice Memorial Ride in which nearly 120 riders in 85 vehicles road a total of 160 miles, with various stops along the route, ending in Spillville.  The group was organized to give motorcycle riders an opportunity to support the hospital's hospice program.
