Andrea (Amidon) Nodolf didn't plan to become a lawyer when she attended school at Luther College from 2000--2004. She was a Communications and Business Management major with plans to possibly work in public relations.
Then she took a business law class from Charles Christianson while a senior at Luther. That led her to apply to William Mitchel Law School in St. Paul, graduating in 2007.
She worked for a MInneapolis law firm after graduating from law school, then was appointed Rusk County District Attorney in 2012.
On Monday, Nodolf took the oath of office to become District Attorney in Dunn County, a larger county in western Wisconsin that includes Menomonie, which is home to UW-Stout.
She hasn't forgotten Luther College and the start it gave her on her legal career. Nodolf tells decorahnews.com that she returned to campus for her 10th reunion during Homecoming.
