"Project Care" receives support from Thrivent Financial

Thivent Financial's Greater Iowa Region has made a donation to the "Project Care" program at First Lutheran Church in Decorah.

Project Care was founded six years ago to help foster care kids who were graduating from high school and aging out of Iowa's foster care system.  Project Care helps to meet their basic living needs as they transition to independent living.

Project Care Chair Kirsten Heine said, "One of the beautiful aspects of this outreach, is that it has touched the entire community and that our community has rallied to support these young people."
